Adiabatic Dry Cooler: Efficient High-Temp Cooling

Project Overview

Conventional dry coolers often face performance limitations under extreme hot ambient conditions, failing to deliver sufficient heat rejection capacity during peak loads. Adiabatic dry coolers integrate air cooling technology with adiabatic pre-cooling pads. Before ambient air passes through the heat exchange coil, airflow goes through humidification pads to achieve adiabatic pre-cooling. Water evaporation lowers incoming air temperature and significantly boosts overall cooling capacity.

SHENGLIN develops a comprehensive portfolio of adiabatic dry coolers, ranging from small single-fan units to large V-shaped configurations with cooling capacity up to 921kW. Manufactured in China, all units support fully customized dimensions and parameters to match diverse project requirements.

• High-efficiency Heat Exchanger


The coil design optimizes heat transfer efficiency while controlling fan energy consumption. The specially designed tube coupling structure maintains low medium-side pressure drop, limited to maximum 100kPa under standard water working conditions. Thermal and aerodynamic design software has undergone long-term verification in Germany to guarantee stable calculated performance. All heat exchangers are factory cleaned and pressure tested at 30 bar before delivery.

• Premium Fan System


SHENGLIN only selects low energy-consumption fans sourced from globally leading manufacturers, proven for long-term reliable operation. Optimized fan nozzles maximize airflow and air throw. Motors reach IP54 protection class with F-class insulation, standard power supply 400V/3N/50Hz. Independent air separators are equipped for each fan unit to ensure uniform airflow distribution.

• Flexible Customized Options


Multiple configuration selections support different working fluids including water, glycol, oil and BC-888. Clients can choose multi-circuit and sub-cooling circuit layouts. Casing alternatives include stainless steel and aluminum construction, while coils support coated aluminum or copper fins. Explosion-proof motors and adjustable fin spacing are also available for special industrial environments.
