Prefabricated Data Centers Delivered to UAE for AI Computing

Project Overview

An AI data center operator in the UAE has received multiple prefabricated data centers supplied by SHENGLIN for high-density computing and AI applications.

As the UAE continues to develop its digital infrastructure and advanced computing capabilities, AI data centers face increasing demands for high rack power density, efficient heat management, reliable power supply, and flexible deployment.For this project, SHENGLIN provided  modular prefabricated data center solutions designed to accommodate different types of high-performance computing equipment within an integrated infrastructure. The system supports GPU, CPU, storage, and network racks, with high-density GPU loads requiring advanced thermal management. To address these requirements, the solution combines RDHX and D2C liquid cooling for high-density servers with DX wall-mounted cooling for air-cooled equipment. Redundant chillers and UPS systems are also incorporated to enhance operational reliability, while the modular configuration provides flexibility for future capacity expansion and upgrades.

Project Features

The prefabricated data centers are configured to support 13 racks, including 10 high-density GPU racks with a heat load of 40 kW each. RDHX and D2C liquid cooling are integrated to manage the thermal requirements of high-performance GPU servers, while DX wall-mounted cooling serves air-cooled IT equipment.
The cooling infrastructure includes three 250 kW chillers in an N+1 configuration, providing redundancy for continuous operation. The power system is equipped with two 600 kW UPS units, 10-minute backup capacity, and power distribution to support critical AI computing loads.
With a modular configuration, the data centers can also accommodate future capacity expansion and infrastructure upgrades. The overall solution achieves a PUE of 1.25, supporting efficient operation for high-density AI computing.


Project Significance

The delivery of these prefabricated data centers provides the UAE AI data center with a modular approach to deploying high-density computing infrastructure. By combining liquid cooling, DX cooling, redundant chilled-water systems, and modular power infrastructure, the solution supports demanding AI workloads while achieving a PUE of 1.25 and providing flexibility for future capacity expansion.
